This course delves into the nature of credit and lending to the various borrowers in the financial markets today. It will cover how credit (or loans) are originated to consumers, business, financial institutions and governments, and how these borrowings are structured and priced, as well as how risk any default (non-payment and late payment) is managed by the lender. This course is intended to provide a solid understanding of credit (or loan) origination, pricing, credit risk and portfolio management, and as appropriate, syndication and or sale of the loan. While this course is broad in its coverage of the topic of credit (or loans) – and spans the vast array of borrowers and loan types, it also digs deep to that the learner understand the specifics of each credit or loan category and type.
